A Profile Of A Band

This group was formed in San Sebastián (Spain) in 1996. The original members were Pablo Benegas, Álvaro Fuentes, Xavi San Martín, Haritz Garde and Amaia Montero. Now, Amaia Montero isn’t in the group and in her site there’s Leire Martínez. Most of the songs are write by the members of the band.

Their first album was Dile al sol, and this was the beginning of their career as artist. Then, their second album was El viaje de Copperpot, the third was Lo que te conté mientras te hacias la dormida and the fourth was Guapa. When they finished the tour of the album Guapa, Amaia said she want to sing solitaire. Now, La oreja de van Gogh has got another album called A las cinco en el Astoria, with Leire as the singer.

They are a good band, because they’ve got 45 pizes!
