Italy

A few weeks ago I went to Italy, it was a fantastic trip! The first day, I visited Milano. It’s a big city with a lot of shops! If I could, I would buy everything. In this city, there’s a cathedral and it’s too big. The second day, we went to Verona. I think it’s a romantic city because there is the house of Julieta (Romeo’s girlfriend). The following day, we visited Sirmione. This is my favourite city! I like it because there’s a castle and if you enter, you’ve got a lot of nice views. The fourth day, we went to Venice. I didn’t like a lot this city very much because the water it’s too dirty, but this day we had a very good weather. The fifth day, we went to Firenze. I like this city, but I think people it’s too rude because one man said that he will throw a honeycomb to my face. And finally, we visited Pisa. I like this city, but I thought that the tower was too small.

2nd And 3rd Term Reflection

I think that this 2 terms were very interesting. We learnt a lot of new vocabulary, and this is very useful for your English! And we learnt the conditional forms, what's a little bit difficult for me.

Reporting An Interview

I'm feeling happy because today it's Friday. I can't live without my phone because I sometimes send messages to my friends, I also can't live without my computer. I'm angry when some people lie. I prefer people who are natural. I would like to be in Hawaii, because I love beach!
I think that I've got a clear memory, because I can remember my feelgins in my first day at this school. I've been to another country, like England, Italy, France... My best holiday was last year in Republica Txeca, becuase is a calm country. In my last birthday, I made a dinner with my friends and we listened to pop music.
I'm usually positive about the future. I think it will be a better places without any pollution. I would like to ban petrol cars, I prefer the electric ones. I'm not going to be a famous person, because I don't like it. When I'm older, I would live in Girona, it's a beautiful city. I promise that next year, I'll study a lot!

4 weddings and a funeral

- What type of film is it? A comedy? A tragedy?

It's a tragedic comedy, because you can see a really funny moments and sad moments.

THE PLOT

- Write a summary.

Charles knew Carrie in a wedding. They slept one night together, but then Carrie went to America. In a few months later, there's another wedding. Carrie said Charles that she will be married in a few months! Then, Charles said that he is in love with her. A few months later, there's Carrie's wedding. Charles went there, but when everybody was laughing Gareth (a friend of Charles) died. After the funeral, Charles marries with Henrietta. Carrie went to this wedding and she said to Charles that she cut with her husband. Charles said that he wouldn't marry with Henrietta. At the final, Charles and Carrie get married.

- What's your favourite scene/moment? Why?

It's when Charles said to Carrie that he is in love with her, because I think that it's a really romantic moment.

THE CHARACTERS

- Who are the main characters?

Charles: He is a good-looking man. He is really romantic.

Carrie: She is an American girl. She's a little bit betrayer.

Tom: He is a rational man. He doesn't want a perfect woman, he wants a normal one.

Gareth: He's a funny man and he's homosexual. He died in the film

Matthew: He's a romantic man and he's homosexual.

Fiona: She's a beautiful woman that is in love with Charles.

David: He is really good-looking, but he's deaf.

Scarlett: She's a really strange woman. I think that she isn't normal.

Henrietta: She's in love with Charles and she's his ex-girlfriend.

- Who's your favourite character? Why?

My favourite character is Charles, because I love the man who are romantic. The only thing that I don't like is that he's in love with Carrie, I don't like this girl.

PERSONAL OPINION

I like this film, because it's a movie that make you laugh. If you are depressed, you can watch this film and feel more happy, because it give you hopes.
